Real Madrid v Espanyol Barcelona

Quick Summary: Real Madrid take on injury ravaged Espanyol, looking to continue their glutony of goals at the Bernabeu (11 goals in 2 games). Real struggled to see off Betis in matchday 5 but showed good form in Europe midweek to defeat Russian champions Zenit 2-1. Espanyol last outing saw them lose to bitter Catalan rivals, Barcelona, 2-1 in controversial circumstances. They will be aiming to put things right here but will have to do it without a long list of absentees including midfielders Rufete, Javi Ruiz, defenders Marc Torrejon, Jesus Mari Lacruz, Steve Finnan and striker Valdo.
